Why this site exists

Every social platform wants a different image size, and every one of them publishes those numbers somewhere different. Getting a thumbnail wrong means a stretched face; getting a banner wrong means your name is cut in half on a phone. Most people end up with a browser full of tabs trying to remember whether a Story is 1080 by 1920 or the other way round.

SizeKit exists to make that a ten-second job. You open the page for the size you need, the crop frame is already locked to the right ratio, and the file you download is already under that platform's upload limit.

How it works

Everything runs inside your own browser using standard web technology. When you drop an image in, it is read by the page on your device, cropped on a canvas and re-encoded there. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and no account is involved. That is also why it is fast: there is no round trip to a server.

It also means your unreleased product photos, your client work and your personal pictures stay on your machine, which is not something a server-based resizer can promise.

What makes it different

Three things. The tools compress automatically until the file fits the platform's own limit and show you the final size before you download. One button exports every size a platform uses as a single ZIP, which is what you actually need when you are setting up a channel. And when your photo is the wrong shape, you can fill the edges with a blurred copy of it or a colour you choose instead of letting the image be stretched.

Free, and how it stays free

The tools are free with no account, no watermark and no usage limit. The site is paid for by advertising, which is why you will see ad slots on the pages. The ads never touch your images.
