Behance Project Cover Size: 808 × 632
Behance shows it at 202 × 158 but asks you to upload four times that — here is the crop that survives both.

Batch mode
Every image will be resized to and downloaded as one ZIP. Change the size below before you start.
Works with images up to roughly 50 MP (about 8000 × 6000 px) depending on your device's memory. WebP export is unavailable in a few older Safari versions — the option is disabled automatically when that is the case.
How it works
Three steps, no account, no watermark.
Add your image
Drag a file onto the box, click to browse, or paste straight from your clipboard with Ctrl + V. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Frame it
The crop box is already locked to 808 × 632. Drag the image to move it and scroll or pinch to zoom until it looks right.
Download
Pick PNG, JPG or WebP. The file is compressed automatically to stay under Behance's limit — or grab every Behance size at once as a ZIP.
About the behance project cover size
Behance's help centre explains this one clearly: your project cover displays at 202 × 158 pixels, but you should upload at least 808 × 632 so it stays sharp on retina screens. That is a 4:3 landscape frame at exactly four times the display size, which is why the odd-looking numbers matter — they are not arbitrary, they are the retina multiple of the real slot.
The consequence is that your cover is competing at thumbnail scale, in a dense grid, against other designers doing the same thing. Detailed layouts, full screenshots of an interface, or an entire poster shrunk to fit all turn to noise at 202 pixels wide. The covers that earn a click show one element large — a single frame, a crop of the most striking part, a bold type treatment — and leave the full story for inside the project.

Tips for Behance
What actually makes the difference once the size is right.
Crop in, do not shrink down
A full poster or a whole app screen reduced to 202 pixels is illegible. Show the most striking fragment at a readable size instead.
Upload 808 × 632, not 202 × 158
The display size is a quarter of the upload size. Uploading at display size means a visibly soft cover on every modern screen.
Skip the project title in the image
Behance prints the title beneath the cover already. Repeating it steals space from the only thing the thumbnail can show.
Make your grid look like a body of work
Consistent crops, margins and colour across covers turn a profile from a pile of projects into a portfolio.
Frequently asked questions
What size is a Behance project cover?
Upload at least 808 × 632 pixels. Behance displays the cover at 202 × 158, and the larger upload keeps it sharp on retina screens. Both figures come from Behance's help centre.
Why is 808 × 632 such an odd size?
It is exactly four times the 202 × 158 display size, which is what high-density screens need to render without softness.
Can I use a portrait image as a cover?
The slot is 4:3 landscape, so a portrait image gets cropped. Choose the crop yourself here rather than letting Behance pick the centre.
What size is a Behance profile picture?
276 × 276 square is the commonly used size, shown as a circle. Behance does not document it as firmly as the cover, so treat it as a recommendation.
Does the cover affect how many views a project gets?
Heavily. In a browse grid the cover is effectively the entire pitch, and it is seen at thumbnail size long before anyone reads the title.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The cropping happens in your browser and client work never leaves your machine.
