Batch mode
Every image will be resized to and downloaded as one ZIP. Change the size below before you start.
Works with images up to roughly 50 MP (about 8000 × 6000 px) depending on your device's memory. WebP export is unavailable in a few older Safari versions — the option is disabled automatically when that is the case.
How it works
Three steps, no account, no watermark.
Add your image
Drag a file onto the box, click to browse, or paste straight from your clipboard with Ctrl + V. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Frame it
The crop box is already locked to 1200 × 480. Drag the image to move it and scroll or pinch to zoom until it looks right.
Download
Pick PNG, JPG or WebP. The file is compressed automatically to stay under Twitch's limit — or grab every Twitch size at once as a ZIP.
About the twitch profile banner size
The Twitch profile banner is 1200 × 480 pixels, a 5:2 strip that runs behind your channel name and profile picture at the top of your channel page. It is routinely mixed up with the offline banner, which is a completely different image: 1920 × 1080, filling the video player when you are not live. Uploading one into the other's slot is the single most common Twitch graphics mistake.
Because your avatar and channel name sit on top of this strip toward the left, the usable area is skewed right. And because the banner is short relative to its width, it is a poor home for photographs but a good one for a pattern, a gradient, or a repeated mark. Think of it as the frame around your channel identity rather than a place to communicate anything specific.
Every Twitch image size
The complete list — click any row to load that size into the tool, or use the ZIP button to export all of them at once. Official means the platform publishes that figure itself; Recommended means it is the widely used standard where the platform publishes none.
| Image | Size (px) | Max file | Source | What to know | Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Offline banner | 1920 × 1080 | 10 MB | Official | Fills the video player when you are not live. 16:9, full HD. | |
| Profile banner | 1200 × 480 | 10 MB | Official | The strip behind your channel name, above the video. | |
| Profile picture | 256 × 256 | 10 MB | Official | Circular and small — a logo mark beats a full photo. | |
| Panel image | 320 × 300 | 10 MB | Official | Panels are locked to 320 px wide; the height is up to you. |
Tips for Twitch
What actually makes the difference once the size is right.
Keep the left side simple
Your profile picture and channel name overlay the left portion. Anything detailed there competes with them.
It is not the offline banner
The offline banner is 1920 × 1080 and fills the video player. This 1200 × 480 strip sits above it. They are separate uploads.
Texture beats content
At 480 pixels tall and 1200 wide, a photograph gets cropped into a sliver. Patterns, gradients and repeated marks hold up much better.
Match your avatar and panels
The banner, the 256 × 256 avatar and the 320-wide panels are all seen at once. One palette across them looks deliberate.
